
Implementing the direction of the Politburo , the Secretariat and the Prime Minister, on October 2, 2025, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front organized a launching ceremony and issued an appeal to support people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10 (Bualoi).
At the launching ceremony, organizations and individuals registered to donate 673 billion VND, of which Thien Tam Fund ( Vingroup ) donated 500 billion VND, Hanoi city donated 100 billion VND, and many agencies, businesses and localities actively responded.
After a week of launching (October 2-9), the call for and mobilization to support people affected by storms and floods has created a strong ripple effect, attracting positive responses from all levels, sectors, localities, organizations and individuals at home and abroad.
As of 5:00 p.m. on October 8, 2025, individuals, units, and organizations registered to support people affected by storms and floods with a total of 798,864 billion VND.
The total amount of registered donations reached nearly 800 billion VND, of which more than 1/3 of the donors chose to donate anonymously to maintain confidentiality and humanity. Many artists, businessmen, influencers... actively participated in charity activities, music nights, and fundraising sports tournaments, contributing to spreading the spirit of "mutual love and support - towards the Central and Northern regions."
Information about the campaign is posted, updated transparently, and publicly reported daily on the media and the Fanpage of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
In the coming time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front will continue to receive support in many forms to help people overcome the consequences of storms No. 10 and 11.
Previously, on October 3, 2025, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee allocated 265 billion VND from the Central relief fund to support 17 provinces and cities to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10; before that, on September 30, it supported 2.5 billion VND to 5 provinces with heavy damage.
The Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front coordinated with Thien Tam Fund (Vingroup) to deploy a VND500 billion support package to 16 affected provinces and cities, ensuring direct, public and targeted support. At the same time, the Fatherland Fronts of localities promoted the "4 on-site" motto, coordinated with the authorities to urgently overcome the consequences of storms No. 10 and 11, helping people stabilize their lives and production.
The Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has also sent an appeal letter and instructions for receiving it to ministries, departments, branches, organizations, and localities, and publicly posted it on newspapers and social networks. Up to now, the Fatherland Front Committees in 34 provinces and cities have launched, responded, and organized donations, creating a strong ripple effect throughout society.
