Mrs. Ha Thi Nhiem's family and Thanh Thinh Commune Police officers agreed on a plan to prepare to build a house. |
On the foundation of an old house that was just demolished in Dong Tien village, Thanh Thinh commune, Ms. Ha Thi Nhiem, one of the extremely disadvantaged households receiving support to build a house in 2025, emotionally shared: My husband passed away in 2007, now there are 3 of us. Previously, the family also received a house built by the State once, but it was already dilapidated. Now that we have been supported to build a new house, we feel happy, we have a house to live in, and we don't have to worry anymore. My family is very happy that the Commune Police force helped design and build the foundation of the house...
Not far from Mrs. Nhiem's house, Mrs. Tran Thi Mao, a poor single parent, could not hide her joy: I thank the Party, the Government , from the village to the police officers for helping me build a new house. I am lonely and have been a poor household for many years. Thanks to the State's support for building a house, from now on I no longer have to worry about the rain or the sun.
In 2025, Thanh Thinh commune will eliminate 60 temporary and dilapidated houses (12 prefabricated houses from the support of the Public Security sector). This is an important task, not only in terms of politics and society but also of profound humanitarian significance, requiring the participation of the entire political system; in which, the Commune Police force is one of the core nuclei.
Lieutenant Colonel Mac Anh Tuan, Chief of Thanh Thinh Commune Police, said: With a high sense of responsibility, we determine this to be an important political task, both a responsibility and a sentiment towards the people, in accordance with the direction of the Provincial Police, as well as the goal of the project to eliminate temporary houses in the area.
Officers and soldiers of Thanh Thinh Commune Police supported leveling the ground for households to build new houses. |
Recently, Thanh Thinh Commune Police mobilized nearly 20 officers and soldiers to support 4 families in dismantling and transporting. After checking, there were 12 more households with special difficulties, mainly in the highlands, where traveling and transporting construction materials was very difficult.
So far, we have supported the construction of 2 prefabricated houses. For the remaining households, after the families see the construction start date, we will continue to coordinate and arrange support forces. The goal is that by August 15, 2025, all households will have new houses to stabilize their lives - Lieutenant Colonel Mac Anh Tuan added.
Officers and soldiers of Thanh Thinh Commune Police actively contributed their efforts directly to participate in seemingly simple and small tasks. Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Van Luan, an officer of Thanh Thinh Commune Police, shared: We are also very happy to contribute our small efforts to help people eliminate temporary houses. We believe that in the future, there will be more new, solid houses built in the area, helping people "settle down and make a living".
According to statistics, up to this point, the whole commune has completed 39/60 houses. In addition to financial support, the Commune Police also directly participated in supporting labor, transporting materials and dismantling old foundations...
Mr. Vu Nhu Hoi, Vice Chairman of Thanh Thinh Commune People's Committee, affirmed: The Commune Police not only perform their professional duties well but are also a force closely associated with people's lives. In the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the locality, the Commune Police force did not hesitate to face difficulties and hardships, always being present at the right time to promptly support households. This is a testament to the role, responsibility and heart of the people's police in the new era.
