3 landslides appeared in Dai Son due to heavy rain

(QNO) - Due to the impact of heavy rain, in the area of Dong Cham and Hoi Khach Tay villages (Dai Son commune, Dai Loc district), 3 landslides appeared, including 2 alarming landslides with small amounts of soil, rocks and water from the hills flowing down close to people's houses.

Accordingly, 2 households have houses located in 2 alarming landslide spots: Mr. Phan Cam's household (Hoi Khach Tay village) and Mr. Tang Van Binh's household (Dong Cham village). Upon receiving the news, the PCTT-TKCN Committee of Dai Son commune immediately went down to check the situation, requesting the 2 households to urgently evacuate to safe places to ensure the safety of people's lives while the heavy rain is developing complicatedly. Among the 3 landslide spots that appeared this time, there are 2 new landslide spots that arose during this heavy rain.

According to Mr. Nguyen Huu Trung - Vice Chairman of Dai Son Commune People's Committee, according to data from the PCTT-TKCN Committee of Dai Son Commune, regarding the risk of landslides in hills and mountains, there are 12 households living in Hoi Khach Tay village; 19 households living in Dong Cham village, in high-risk areas. Most of the households live in mountainous areas, with houses located at the foot of the hills and mountains, close to the foot of the hills and mountains.
