According to the Investment Promotion and Support Board, the goal of this conference is to promote the potential, advantages, investment opportunities, preferential policies, and investment support of Da Nang city to Korean organizations, businesses, and investors, creating conditions to connect Korean businesses and Da Nang city businesses to expand cooperation and business.

It is known that in its development orientation, Da Nang identifies Korea as one of the leading strategic partners in investment, trade and tourism cooperation.
In 2023, export turnover to Korea is estimated to reach 45 million USD; import turnover is estimated to reach 65 million USD. In 2023, Da Nang welcomed more than 935,000 Korean tourists, accounting for nearly 50% of the total number of international tourists to the city.
Regarding investment, as of March 2024, Da Nang has 278 investment projects from Korea with a total investment capital of about 381 million USD, focusing mainly on the manufacturing and service industries.
In terms of investment capital, Korea ranks 5th out of 45 countries and territories investing in Da Nang.
Some outstanding projects of Korean enterprises and investors include: ICT Vina Medical Equipment Manufacturing Factory of Dentium Company in Da Nang High-Tech Park, LG Group's Auto Parts Development Solution Research Center, Lotte Da Nang Commercial Center, etc.
In the coming time, Da Nang city will focus on attracting Korean businesses and investors to expand cooperation and investment activities in the field of high-tech industry in addition to tourism and high-quality services.
In particular, priority is given to developing the industries of electronics, mechatronics, automation, precision mechanics, biotechnology, information technology, semiconductor industry and artificial intelligence.
At the workshop, representatives of the Da Nang Investment Promotion and Support Board introduced the investment and business environment and key projects calling for investment in Da Nang city.
