>> Yen Bai tourism turns "heritage" into "asset"
The province has promoted administrative reform, improved the investment environment, issued preferential policies and a list of projects calling for investment, including 5 projects in the fields of trade, tourism and services. Along with that, the province focused on directing the completion of many key transport infrastructure projects to serve socio -economic development and tourism.
In the period of 2021 - 2025, the province prioritizes the implementation of 26 key projects with a total capital of over 13,426 billion VND, including 17 transport infrastructure projects, with a total investment of about 9,950 billion VND. Thanks to that, inter-regional connectivity is increasingly favorable, opening up many new tourist routes, especially connecting with Lao Cai, Ha Giang, Son La, Tuyen Quang... Major routes are gradually being completed, creating conditions for the formation of new intra-provincial tourism products, while effectively connecting with Hanoi , Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway and southern provinces via Noi Bai airport.
Thanks to synchronous and effective solutions, the number of small and medium-sized projects in the tourism sector has increased significantly, concentrated in the western tourist area, Thac Ba Lake area and along the Chay River. Currently, the whole province has 26 tourism projects approved for investment, with a total registered capital of over VND 5,130 billion. From 2021 to now, there are 13 projects with a total capital of over VND 1,409 billion.
Of which, in 2021, 3 projects were granted investment approval decisions; in 2022, 1 project; in 2023, 4 projects; in 2024, 5 projects. In the province, there are currently many domestic and foreign corporations and investors conducting research, surveys, and implementing tourism projects in localities in the province such as: TH Group, Sungroup, APEC, Flamingo Holding Group...
