1 woman died in fire

According to information from Tuyen Quang Provincial Police, the fire broke out at around 11pm on May 17 in Yen Lap commune, Chiem Hoa district.

Specifically, the fire occurred at the combined residential and business house of Mr. LNT (born in 1963, residing in Dai Thi village, Yen Lap commune). At the time of the fire, there were 4 people in the house, including 2 adults and 2 children.

Upon receiving the information, Yen Lap Commune Police urgently mobilized security forces at the grassroots level and villagers to organize fire fighting and rescue; and reported to leaders at all levels for support.

Immediately afterwards, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Tuyen Quang Province Police urgently arrived at the scene to participate in fire fighting.

By 3:30 a.m. on May 18, the fire was basically extinguished. However, Ms. HTL (born in 1972, Mr. T's wife) died at the scene. Property damage was estimated at about 3 billion VND.

Professional units of Tuyen Quang Provincial Police are focusing on examining the scene, performing an autopsy, and urgently investigating the cause of the incident.
