10 years of connecting hearts for beloved Hoang Sa and Truong Sa

On the afternoon of August 17 in Hanoi , the "For Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa" Club admitted new members and awarded scholarships to students on the occasion of its 10th anniversary.

Being able to participate in activities to join hands and contribute to Hoang Sa, Truong Sa, and Vietnam's sea and islands is the aspiration of many Vietnamese people.

Stemming from that sentiment, over the past 10 years, the "For Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa" Club has connected the hearts of many groups and thousands of individuals at home and abroad towards the "head of the waves and the wind" - where there are officers, soldiers and fishermen who are day and night guarding the sacred sea and sky of the Fatherland.

Ms. Truong My Hoa - former Vice President, President of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, Head of the "For Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa" Club - said that over the years, the club has mobilized domestic and foreign resources, joining hands to carry out in-depth projects to share with navy soldiers, coast guard, fisheries surveillance and fishermen.

Typical of which are the scholarships Nurturing the Future , Wings of Dreams , Supporting Students , carrying out military rear work such as taking care of a warm Tet for officers and soldiers on remote islands, giving policy houses, comrade houses and thousands of gifts to students in coastal areas, reading rooms for soldiers and civilians in Truong Sa island district...

"We have the right to believe that in the future, the 'For Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa' Club, with the companionship and joint efforts of everyone, will increasingly perform its sacred mission better, more firmly, and more excellently," Ms. Hoa affirmed.

At the program, the club admitted new members, bringing the total number to 5,000 individual members and 168 domestic and foreign groups.

At the same time, scholarships for the 2024-2025 school year were awarded to six students studying in Hanoi with an amount of 12 million VND/school year; and prizes were awarded to excellent university graduates.
