The Ha Tinh Province Elderly Singing Festival is a cultural and artistic activity to improve the spiritual life of the elderly so that they can live happily, healthily, and happily, and set a good example for their children and grandchildren to follow.
On the morning of September 17, the Provincial Association of the Elderly coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize the opening ceremony of the 2023 Provincial Elderly Singing Festival. Attending the opening ceremony were Chairman of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly Nguyen Thanh Binh; Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Trung Dung; Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Tu Anh; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau; leaders of a number of departments, branches and localities. |

The 2023 Ha Tinh Province Elderly Singing Festival has the participation of 254 actors and members of 13 troupes from 13 districts, cities and towns in the province. The troupes brought to the festival 38 performances with many genres: solo, duet, group singing, choir singing, scene singing, Nghe Tinh folk song suites with many different melodies and colors; which were carefully staged and rehearsed by the teams.
Mr. Thai Sinh - Chairman of the Elderly Association of Ha Tinh province delivered the opening speech of the 2023 Ha Tinh Province Elderly Singing Festival.
The Elderly Singing Festival is an activity that creates conditions for the elderly to participate in cultural and artistic activities, improve their spiritual life; live happily, healthily, and happily; is an opportunity for the elderly to exchange, show off their talents and passion for singing, learn from each other, create good social relationships, and set a good example for their children and grandchildren to follow.
Chairman of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly Nguyen Thanh Binh, Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung and provincial leaders presented souvenir flags to the delegations attending the festival.
The festival is also an opportunity for the elderly to review the glorious revolutionary tradition, contributeto educating the younger generation, build increasingly strong intergenerational self-help clubs and associations; actively preserve and promote the traditional cultural identity of the nation and homeland.
The festival was attended by 13 delegations from 13 districts, cities and towns in the province.
According to the plan, the Provincial Elderly Singing Festival will take place in 1 day (September 17) at the Provincial Cultural and Cinema Center. Tonight, the organizing committee will hold a performance, closing ceremony and award ceremony.

The performance "Mother of Sen Village" was performed by the singing and dancing group - the Elderly Association of Thach Ha district.
The festival attracted a large number of elderly members and people to watch and cheer.
