15 candidates entered the final round of the Hai Duong Province Tour Guide Competition 2024

Mr. Vu Dinh Tien, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism spoke at the contest.

The semi-final round had 44 contestants from 17 units. They were tour guides, collaborators, officials, employees, and workers working at relic management boards, tourist areas and spots in the province...

The Organizing Committee of the contest presented souvenir flags to representatives of units with participating contestants.

Candidates presented a 10-minute presentation about Hai Duong tourism including tourist areas, attractions, relics, scenic spots, tourism products, traditional craft villages, unique cuisine , tourism services...

The final round is scheduled to take place from September 23-27. Candidates will participate in a talent competition for applying skills in the tour guide job (telling funny stories, singing, cheering); practicing tour guide skills (communication, solving situations related to the tour guide job)... The time will not exceed 20 minutes.

Previously, in the preliminary round, the Organizing Committee received 68 entries on the following topics: Hai Duong tourism program; tourist areas and spots; tourist attractions; relics; tourism products; traditional craft villages; special cuisine...

The contest aims to raise awareness and professional qualifications for tour guides, interpreters, and tourism collaborators... The new point of this year's contest is that students at tourism training institutions in the province can participate.
