These are the most potential teams, selected from 2,625 creative ideas from students nationwide, marking an important step in the journey of turning ideas into practical technological solutions of the young generation of Vietnam.

Samsung Solve for Tomorrow is an annual creative thinking playground for middle and high school students aged 12-18, encouraging them to apply STEM education knowledge related to the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics to solve existing social problems.

Officially launched on March 28, 2025, the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2025 competition focuses on three major topics: Developing a sustainable environment through technology; Combining sports and technology to change society (towards education and future development) and Applying technology to develop a sustainable society.

At the end of Round 2 - Product Development Round, in mid-September 2025, the 50 best teams gradually completed their products and sent to the Organizing Committee a video presentation from ideas, product descriptions to steps to realize the model. This is the basis for the Organizing Committee to select the 16 best teams to advance to the Final Round.

The TOP 16 teams were selected based on the feasibility, creativity and social impact of their ideas. Commenting on the teams and entries that made it to the Finals, the judges generally appreciated the professionalism, confidence and team spirit of the team members.

Specifically, the teams demonstrated creativity and efforts to solve socially significant problems. This year's entries were assessed to be of quite good quality, with a level of specific application that is relatively suitable to the needs of modern society.

Dr. Phan Thanh Toan, Lecturer of the Faculty of Information Technology, Academy of Educational Management, a member of the jury, assessed that most of the topics applied new technologies such as AI, IoT... with the quality of the entries not much inferior to that of university students.

Dr. Phung Cong Phi Khanh, Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Technical Education, Hanoi National University of Education, another member of the jury, said that most of the topics were good, with full content in terms of expertise and specialization.

“The products are all highly finished, function and operate as intended, and also have detailed introductions about their structure, function and operation,” said Dr. Phung Cong Phi Khanh.

The teams' reports showed a relatively complete research process: problem overview, user survey, design, manufacturing, testing, and drawing appropriate conclusions. Many teams had standardized measurement parameters.

The top 16 teams will continue to participate in in-depth consulting sessions under the guidance of experts to perfect their models before officially entering the final round scheduled to take place at the end of October 2025.

“Samsung is actively implementing Samsung Solve for Tomorrow with the desire to support Vietnam in its journey to become a technologically developed country,” said Mr. Na Ki Hong, General Director of Samsung Vietnam.

According to Mr. Na Ki Hong, in addition to this contest, Samsung is also carrying out many social responsibility activities to express gratitude for the affection and support of the Vietnamese people, especially the active support of the Government.

“Samsung's corporate social responsibility activities not only enhance Vietnam's basic competitiveness but also connect with training future leaders,” said Mr. Na Ki Hong.

The Samsung Solve for Tomorrow competition was first held in Vietnam in 2019. Up to now, the competition has become an annual creative thinking playground for middle and high school students aged 12 to 18.

By the end of 2024, the program had attracted more than 475,000 students and teachers to register, receiving nearly 7,500 entries.
