The SIC project for the 2024-2025 school year will start in April 2025, aiming to equip high-tech capabilities for the young generation of Vietnam - those expected to successfully lead the Industrial Revolution 4.0 in the future.
Within the framework of the program, Samsung cooperated with NIC to open 5 Artificial Intelligence (AI) classes, 3 Internet of Things (IoT) classes and 4 Big Data classes for 330 students from many universities such as University of Technology and University of Science (under Vietnam National University, Hanoi),FPT University, University of Commerce, Academy of Policy and Development...
The courses combine core technology skills training with soft skills and practical working skills, the content is designed based on a survey of industrial development trends and recruitment needs at large enterprises.
In addition to professional knowledge, students are also supported with free Korean language training and participate in exchanges and career orientation with engineers from Samsung Research and Development Center.
Sharing after the course, student Mai Dinh Duc Trung, University of Natural Sciences , said that the program opened the “door” to access the world of connected technology, helping to turn ideas into real products, while also practicing teamwork, leadership and problem-solving skills.
Lecturer Vu Thanh Vinh, Thuy Loi University, assessed SIC as a practical program, helping students to be more confident when doing internships and applying for jobs, and at the same time suitable for the context of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution.

First deployed in the 2023-2024 school year, this is the second year Samsung and NIC have cooperated to organize SIC in Hoa Lac. The results achieved have affirmed the effectiveness of the public-private partnership model in training technology talents, responding to the Government 's call to mobilize resources for the goal of training 50,000 semiconductor engineers by 2030.
Mr. Kim Yong Sup, Deputy General Director of Samsung Vietnam, emphasized: “SIC not only provides advanced technological knowledge but also creates a creative playground, helping the young generation of Vietnam to be ready to lead the Industrial Revolution 4.0. We are committed to continuing to accompany Vietnam in training high-quality human resources.”
Samsung Innovation Campus is one of Samsung's core corporate social responsibility projects. The project focuses on global information and communications technology education for young people.
SIC launched globally in 2019 and has expanded to 40 countries worldwide such as the US, Germany, Spain, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand…
In Vietnam, SIC has also been deployed since 2019. To date, the Project has trained and developed high-tech capacity for more than 12,000 students from more than 140 schools in 18 provinces and cities across the country.
