Samsung employees proudly 'Moving forward with Vietnam'

On the morning of August 16, together with people in provinces and cities across the country, a large number of Samsung Vietnam employees in Bac Ninh and Thai Nguyen (Samsung's two largest mobile phone and component manufacturing bases in the world) simultaneously put on red shirts with yellow stars, sang the national anthem and marched together for a united, strong and sustainable Vietnam.

This is an activity in response to the event “Moving Forward with Vietnam”, with the message “1 billion steps into the new era”, jointly organized by Nhan Dan newspaper and the Ministry of Public Security , to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2 and Traditional Day of the People's Public Security August 19.

As the largest FDI enterprise in Vietnam, Samsung is proud that its Vietnamese employees are both the workforce that creates modern high-tech devices "made in Vietnam" and the hearts that are ready to beat together with the country.

“We believe that every step of Samsung employees will join 1 billion steps of Vietnam in this meaningful campaign to create strength, belief and aspiration, moving forward with Vietnam,” said Mr. Na Ki Hong, General Director of Samsung Vietnam.

To date, Samsung's presence in Vietnam includes 6 factories, 1 Research and Development (R&D) Center and 1 sales entity. Samsung is the largest foreign direct investor in Vietnam, with a total investment capital of up to 23.2 billion USD. Samsung Vietnam's export value in 2024 will reach 54.4 billion USD.

During 30 years of accompanying Vietnam, besides its role as the largest FDI enterprise in Vietnam, Samsung has been constantly making efforts in community activities, aiming to become an enterprise that receives much love from the Vietnamese people.
