Today, November 10th, Samsung Vietnam celebrates 30 years of operation in Vietnam, marking three decades of commitment, development, and partnership with the country on its path towards innovation, smart living, and a sustainable future.

Since its first milestone in 1995 with a TV manufacturing plant in Vietnam, Samsung has continuously expanded its scale and affirmed its position as a leading enterprise in the technology sector. To date, the group operates six modern manufacturing plants along with sales and marketing offices nationwide, contributing to job creation, boosting exports, and playing a significant role in Vietnam's socio -economic growth.

Over the past three decades, Samsung has not only been the largest FDI investor in Vietnam, with a total capital of $23.2 billion as of the end of 2024, but also a trusted partner of millions of Vietnamese families on their journey to improve their quality of life.
From Galaxy mobile devices that connect every moment, to Vision AI-integrated TVs that deliver the ultimate entertainment experience, to the Bespoke AI home appliance collection that personalizes living spaces – Samsung is constantly innovating to deliver smart, advanced, and sustainable technology solutions.

Mr. Na Ki Hong, General Director of Samsung Vietnam, shared: “Thanks to the support of the Vietnamese Government and people, Samsung has been able to accompany Vietnam for the past 30 years. We sincerely thank Vietnamese consumers for their continued trust and support. Samsung is committed to continuing to innovate, bring advanced technologies, and together with Vietnam, build a better future.”
Vietnam is not only a global manufacturing hub for Samsung – having shipped over 2.35 billion smart products within the Galaxy ecosystem – but also a gateway for expanding AI-integrated products and solutions to similar markets in Southeast Asia and Oceania.
Currently, Vietnam has become one of Samsung's most important strategic bases globally, with outstanding capabilities in both manufacturing and R&D, where Vietnamese engineers are directly leading many key projects.

In 2022, Samsung inaugurated its largest Research and Development (R&D) center in Southeast Asia in Hanoi , demonstrating its long-term investment commitment and strategy for developing technology talent right here in Vietnam.
With its increasingly advanced technological capabilities, a highly potential workforce, and a strong desire to lead in digital transformation, Vietnam is moving closer to its goal of becoming a leading technology hub in the region.

Samsung sees an opportunity to strengthen its commitment to the country by investing in local manufacturing, innovation, and expertise development, while also collaborating closely with domestic partners to transfer technology, develop talent, and co-create suitable solutions for emerging markets. With this orientation, Vietnam is not only a manufacturing hub but is also gradually establishing itself as a global center for innovation and technological talent in the AI era.
With its vision "Together for Tomorrow! Enabling People," Samsung focuses on implementing various activities to nurture the future generation, such as Samsung Solve for Tomorrow and Samsung Innovation Campus, encouraging young Vietnamese people to develop STEM skills, creative thinking, and a pioneering spirit in the digital age.

As a leading global technology corporation, Samsung is also a pioneer in acting responsibly towards the environment and society. In Vietnam, the company is committed to promoting a sustainable development strategy with goals of carbon neutrality, expanding the use of renewable energy, and reducing emissions throughout its entire production chain. Simultaneously, Samsung continues to support Vietnam's digital transformation, collaborating with the government and local partners to promote technological innovation, develop high-quality human resources, and support the domestic business ecosystem.

To celebrate 30 years of partnership with Vietnam, Samsung will launch a series of meaningful activities to express gratitude to consumers and partners who have been with them throughout this journey, including commemorative events, community programs, and special offers on product lines: Discounts up to VND 3.5 million when purchasing phones, tablets, smartwatches, and Galaxy headphones, 0% interest installment plans, and many attractive discounts when purchased together.
