The German women's team is under a lot of pressure ahead of the 2023 Women's World Cup due to their disappointing friendly results. They could only beat the Vietnamese women's team 2-1 and lost to Zambia 2-3. The performance in the first minutes of the European representative made fans even more worried.

Germany 6-0 Morocco.

Taking the initiative, the German women's team barely made any difference. Luckily for coach Martina Voss and her team, legendary striker Alexandra Popp spoke up at the right time. In the 11th minute, from a cross from Hendrich, the 32-year-old player jumped high and headed the ball accurately to open the score for the German women's team.

Germany beat Morocco.

However, this goal did not help Germany have a more positive game. The midfielder of the white team made many wrong passes, allowing Morocco to coordinate freely. But in the 39th minute, Alexandra Popp was once again mentioned when she leaned over to head the ball in a very difficult position to double the gap for Germany.

In the second half, coach Martina Voss instructed her players to increase the speed of the match. The decision of this former midfielder had a positive impact. The Moroccan women's players seemed to no longer be able to keep up with the opponent's playing tempo. They exposed many gaps and made mistakes. In the 47th minute, receiving a pass from Jule Brand, Buhl easily tapped the ball close to the goal to increase the score to 3-0.

The Moroccan women's team played very hard, but defense was their weak point. In the 54th minute, El Haj scored an unfortunate own goal. The ball hit one of her teammates and El Haj was caught off guard. 25 minutes later, Morocco continued to have bad luck. Goalkeeper Er-Rmichi punched the ball straight at teammate Mrabet and the midfielder was the one who scored the own goal.

At the end of the match, the German women's team scored another goal thanks to Lea Schuller. Thus, the match between Germany and Morocco was the match with the biggest gap since the beginning of the tournament.
