250 cadres and union members were trained in Social Insurance Law and Trade Union Law.

On the morning of May 8, Lao Cai City Labor Federation organized a training conference on the 2024 Social Insurance Law and the 2024 Trade Union Law for 250 delegates representing officials and union members of grassroots trade unions under the City Labor Federation.

This is an activity in response to Workers' Month 2025.

The Trade Union Law and the Social Insurance Law were passed by the National Assembly in 2024, effective from July 1, 2025, helping to further strengthen the role of trade unions and ensure better rights for workers, improving the quality of life and social security.

At the conference, delegates were informed about the new and basic points of the two legal documents, especially the contents directly related to the rights and responsibilities of workers; and the activities of trade unions in the new situation. From there, trade unions at all levels, union members and workers can base on implementing their tasks, ensuring legitimate rights and improving practical benefits for union members and workers.
