30 businesses introduce new technology in Ho Chi Minh City

This year's program brings together 30 businesses to exhibit and introduce technology solutions in many fields.

On the morning of August 13, the Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Information Technology Association (HCA) opened the Week of Trade Connection and Product Introduction of Supporting Industry, Electronic Equipment - Information Technology in 2025.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Ho Thi Quyen, Deputy Director of ITPC, emphasized that digital technology and digital technology enterprises are key factors in rapid growth models, contributing to promoting the development of the digital economy . Ho Chi Minh City has issued many mechanisms and policies to support enterprises in transforming production models, promoting the application of digital technology associated with the orientation of green production and green export, thereby improving the competitiveness and position of Vietnamese goods in the international market.

This year's program brings together 30 businesses to exhibit and introduce technology solutions in many fields: digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI), big data, information security, e-commerce, smart management platforms, smart logistics, and applications of blockchain technology and the Internet of Things (IoT).

According to the Ministry of Science and Technology , by the end of 2024, Vietnam will have 73,788 active digital technology enterprises, up 10.1% over the previous year. About 1,900 enterprises have revenue from foreign markets, up 26.67%, reaching a total revenue of 11.5 billion USD, up 53.3% over the same period.

The total revenue of the information and communications industry is estimated to reach 166.7 billion USD, an increase of 13.2% compared to 2023. Of which, the digital technology industry contributes 151.86 billion USD, accounting for more than 91% of the total industry revenue and equivalent to 11% of GDP.
