(PLVN) - Instead of 6 locations as previously planned, Hanoi decided to add 24 more fireworks display locations to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day in 30 districts of the City.
The Hanoi People's Committee has just planned to organize fireworks to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024) in Hanoi.
According to this plan, Hanoi will have 30 fireworks display locations with 31 locations. Of which, there will be 1 high-altitude fireworks display location combined with low-altitude fireworks with 800 fireworks and 24 pyrotechnics, along with 480 pyrotechnic tubes at My Dinh National Stadium, combined with the F1 racetrack area, Phu Do Ward, Nam Tu Liem District.
There will be 8 high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks displays, each with 600 fireworks in front of the Hanoi Moi newspaper headquarters and Hanoi Post Office (Hoan Kiem district); Lac Long Quan flower garden (Tay Ho district); Coconut Island, Thong Nhat Park, Le Dai Hanh ward (Hai Ba Trung district); Van Quan lake, Van Quan ward (Ha Dong district); Son Tay ancient citadel (Son Tay town); the project land of the regulating lake, Tam Hiep commune (Thanh Tri district); Dong Anh district Sports and Physical Training Center.
The other 22 low-altitude fireworks displays will be arranged at: Southeast area of Ngoc Khanh Lake, Ngoc Khanh Ward (Ba Dinh District); Den Lu Lake Park, Hoang Van Thu Ward (Hoang Mai District); Park 02, Viet Hung Ward (Long Bien District); Hoang Cau Lake Peninsula, O Cho Dua Ward (Dong Da District); Cau Giay Park, Dich Vong Ward (Cau Giay District); Nhan Chinh Lake Park, Nhan Chinh Ward (Thanh Xuan District); Hoa Binh Park, Xuan Dinh Ward (Bac Tu Liem District).
Low-altitude fireworks displays are arranged in the following districts: No. 1 Thuan An, Trau Quy town (Gia Lam district); the roof of the 4-storey building of Me Linh district People's Committee; Quang Oai stadium, Tay Dang town (Ba Vi district); Stand B, Dan Phuong district stadium, Phung town (Dan Phuong district); Lien Quan town stadium (Thach That district); district stadium, Chuc Son town (Chuong My district); Thuong Tin district stadium (Thuong Tin district).
The remaining locations: the 6-storey roof of the Military Command of Quoc Oai district; Thao Chinh sub-area, Phu Xuyen town; ecological lake park, Dai Nghia town (My Duc district); district stadium, Van Dinh town (Ung Hoa district); district stadium, Soc Son town (Soc Son district); district stadium, Phuc Tho town (Phuc Tho district); green park, Kim Bai town (Thanh Oai district); stadium of the Culture, Information and Sports Center of Hoai Duc district.
The Hanoi People's Committee said the fireworks display will last 15 minutes, from 9:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. on October 9, 2024.
Previously, on April 23, the Hanoi People's Committee also issued a plan to organize fireworks displays at 6 locations to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the capital's Liberation Day. With the latest plan, Hanoi will increase the number of fireworks displays from 6 to 30 locations to serve the viewing needs of local residents.
