This year, Foreign Trade University plans to enroll 4,180 students (an increase of 50 students compared to last year) using 4 methods, including increasing the scores for international SAT and ACT certificates. The 4 admission methods include:

- Considering the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam : In this method, candidates can consider the exam score independently, or in combination with an international language certificate. The conditions for IELTS scores and other certificates are equivalent to considering the transcript.

- Admission based on academic records : the school applies to 3 groups of candidates, including: participating in national science and technology competitions for excellent students; winning third prize or higher in city-level excellent student competitions; being students of specialized schools.

Students can use the average score of 6 semesters of three subjects in the combination; or combine it with an international language certificate. When considering the combination, the certificate score will be converted and replace the English subject in the combination.

- Consider domestic and international competency assessment certificates: the school considers the results of two competency assessment exams organized by Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City National University. The floor scores are from 100/150 and 850/1200 respectively.
