Starting swimming at the age of 52, Ms. Pham Thi Toi (74 years old, Tho Quang ward, Son Tra, Da Nang city) is the oldest athlete participating in the swimming competition. “The program is organized annually but is always innovative and very useful to the community. Now that drowning happens too often, young people should participate to improve their health and protect themselves. Although I am old, the older I get, the more ambitious I am, I must try to set an example for the younger generation,” Ms. Toi shared.
