3.2 billion USD poured into Hai Phong at the beginning of the year

TPO – Hai Phong City has just granted investment registration certificates to 5 domestic investment projects (DDI) and 6 foreign investment projects (FDI) with capital in projects in industrial parks, totaling 3.2 billion USD.

Most notably, the Trang Cat Urban and Service Area Project, invested by Trang Cat Urban Development Company Limited, increased its capital by VND 62,746 billion (from VND 62,746 billion to VND 69,087 billion).

The project was previously approved by the Hai Phong City People's Committee for its master plan in 2010 with a total area of 584.94 hectares, in Trang Cat ward, Hai An district, in Dinh Vu - Cat Hai Economic Zone.

Project to invest in construction and business of infrastructure of Trang Due 3 Industrial Park in Truong Tho, Truong Thanh, An Tien, Bat Trang communes (An Lao district). Saigon - Hai Phong Industrial Park Joint Stock Company is the investor, with a project scale of 652.73 hectares, investment capital of more than 8,000 billion VND.

The Vinh Quang Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Construction Project (phase 1) is invested by IDICO Vinh Quang Joint Stock Company. The project is implemented in 3 communes of Vinh Bao district, with an area of 226.01 hectares, with a total investment capital of more than 3,550 billion VND.

In Hong Bang district, Hai Phong International Industrial Park Joint Stock Company registered to invest in the project of Investment in construction and business of infrastructure of Nomura Industrial Park (phase 2) with a scale of 197 hectares, total investment capital of more than 2,782 billion VND. The project's objective is to invest in construction and business of industrial park infrastructure in the form of ecological industrial park.

In Trang Cat ward (Hai An district), Vinhomes Industrial Park Investment Joint Stock Company registered to invest in the Nam Trang Cat Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Investment Project. The project uses 200.39 hectares of land with an investment capital of more than VND 2,252 billion.

In addition to domestic investment projects, Hai Phong also granted investment certificates to 6 FDI projects of corporations from Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, and the US with a total newly granted and increased capital of more than 125 million USD.

In particular, the new project of manufacturing auto parts of investor Trakmotive Global Industrial Inc (USA) with a total capital of 60 million USD was granted. This factory is located in Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park, specializing in manufacturing and distributing auto parts, transmission system parts such as drive shafts and wheel axles.
