On the afternoon of June 5, the Nha Trang 2025 Beach Culture and Tourism Festival had a special highlight when 32 top beach volleyball athletes from 6 Asian countries gathered in the coastal city of Nha Trang to compete from June 5-9 at Phu Dong Park beach.

The Nha Trang 2025 International Men's and Women's Beach Volleyball Tournament brings together outstanding athletes from Vietnam, China, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. These are national representatives who have competed in international tournaments, promising to bring dramatic competitions on the beach.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu, Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, said that the tournament not only raises the level of Vietnamese sea sports but also affirms Nha Trang's position on the international sports tourism map. The tournament will strictly apply the competition rules of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). The group stage combined with knockout will take place in 4-5 days on 3 competition courts, including 2 main courts and 1 warm-up court.
The final and closing matches will be held on the morning of June 9. In addition to the main awards, the organizers will also award the Miss Beach Volleyball award and the Outstanding Referee Team award.

As part of the 2025 Sea Culture and Tourism Festival, the tournament is expected to be an important stepping stone for Nha Trang to build its brand as an annual international sea sports tournament.
