34 winning works of the photo and video contest "Happy Vietnam 2024"

In 2024, the number of entries increased by more than 40% compared to the first year the competition was held.
Among more than 10,300 participating photos and videos , the Organizing Committee of the Photo and Video Contest "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam 2024" selected 60 videos and 150 best photos to display at the exhibition, of which 34 works were awarded prizes.
On December 5, at the press conference to announce the awards for the photo and video contest "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam 2024", the representative of the Organizing Committee informed that at 8:00 p.m. on December 11, at the Hanoi Opera House, the Ministry of Information and Communications in coordination with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists will hold the opening ceremony of the exhibition and announce the awards for the photo and video contest "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam 2024". After nearly 7 months of launching the contest, from March 20, 2024 until the deadline for receiving works on October 15, 2024, the contest has attracted a total of 6,863 authors with 10,327 photo and video works, including 9,657 photo works and 670 video works. Among the participating authors, there are 581 international authors, 265 Vietnamese authors abroad with nearly 1,000 works and more than 50% of the authors have participated in the 2023 Contest. The Jury and Organizing Committee have selected 60 best videos and 150 photos to display at the exhibition, of which 34 works were awarded.
Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Director of the Department of External Information, Ministry of Information and Communications, shared about the contest.
Each work is an interesting story, an impressive moment or a meaningful message about love for the homeland, country, with pride, with love and aspiration for a prosperous and happy life across the S-shaped strip of land. The total prize value of both photo and video categories is up to nearly 400 million VND, including 2 Gold Medals; 4 Silver Medals; 6 Bronze Medals and 20 Encouragement Prizes.
According to Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Director of the Department of External Information, Ministry of Information and Communications, after the award ceremony, the selected works will continue to be exhibited domestically and internationally, serving the communication and promotion of Vietnam's achievements in ensuring human rights.
