VSMCamp - National Sales & Marketing Congress and CSMOSummit - 2025 Sales & Marketing Directors Summit are the largest annual events of the Vietnamese sales and marketing community, taking place over two days, October 24-25, in Ho Chi Minh City. This year's event is themed "Quantum of Sales – Technology, People, and Personalized Experiences."
Taking place amidst a technological boom and AI's strong influence on consumer behavior, the event not only introduced new technologies and marketing philosophies but also identified four strategic trends that will shape the future of the Sales & Marketing industry.

Mr. Le Quoc Vinh, Chairman of Le Bros and Head of the Event Organizing Committee, stated that sales today are not just about selling products, but about deeply understanding each customer's needs, emotions, and touchpoints. Hyper-personalized and non-linear selling is the first trend he mentioned among the four key elements guiding modern businesses. While previously sales were a journey from awareness to closing a deal, now each customer is a unique world , "read" through behavioral, emotional, and contextual data.
Thanks to AI and Big Data, brands can understand the "micro-signals" of each consumer, thereby designing unique and seamless experiences.
According to experts, this shift forces businesses to invest in data management systems, automation, and artificial intelligence to understand customers at a deeper level, while designing more flexible, multi-channel, and predictable sales journeys.
Furthermore, a deep and immediate emotional connection with customers is also a new and inevitable trend. In an age dominated by technology, emotions remain the foundation for winning over customers. The challenge for sales and marketing professionals is no longer "how to sell," but how to gain trust.
Modern customers are increasingly "powerful"; they are more knowledgeable, have higher expectations, and are willing to abandon a brand if the experience doesn't meet their standards. Therefore, the relationship between businesses and customers must be continuously maintained, with emotions and data intertwined. This requires businesses to not only invest in tools but also cultivate empathy within their sales teams, from communication and brand storytelling to after-sales service.
With AI transforming the entire marketing and sales industry—from behavioral analysis and demand prediction to personalized messaging and decision support—modern businesses need " quantum data-driven decisions and advanced artificial intelligence," turning AI into "sleepless sales agents." This was also a key topic discussed at the year's largest sales and marketing conference.
Inspired by the concept of a "quantum leap," VSMCamp & CSMOSummit 2025 highlight non-traditional growth strategies in the industry. The concept of "quantum data" involves leveraging data on an extremely large scale and at high frequency, including behavioral, emotional, and contextual data, to make accurate and immediate predictions. Marketing decisions are no longer based on intuition but are guided by data and quantitative analysis.
However, according to the event's speakers, the human element remains central to the industry. Garner's surveys show that only 8% of consumers make purchase decisions based on data suggestions, while 75% still prefer face-to-face interaction in complex buying transactions.
From there, the fourth trend pointed out by experts is the sales of the future – where art and science blend together . Mr. Le Quoc Vinh argues that the "quantum" advancement of the industry cannot rely solely on AI, but must be based on the synergy between science and art. "That's a new kind of sales – a synergy between technology and human empathy," Mr. Vinh said.
If science helps businesses understand customers through data, then art helps them touch hearts – through stories and experiences. Balancing these two elements is the sustainable path for all brands in the age of AI.

VSMCamp & CSMOSummit 2025 brought together over 60 speakers from Vietnam and abroad, with a series of more than 10 discussion sessions revolving around trend-setting topics such as "AI Sales Agent – The Salesperson Who Never Sleeps", "Hyper-personalization at Scale", "Shoppertainment – Winning Customers Through Cultural Entertainment" and "Data-driven vs. Emotion-driven".
With the theme "Quantum of Sales," the event aims to reshape industry thinking – where data, technology, and emotions intersect to create a non-linear growth model, helping businesses break free from traditional limitations.
Established in 2016, VSMCamp – the National Sales & Marketing Congress and CSMOSummit – the High-Level Conference of Sales & Marketing Directors, is the largest annual 2-in-1 professional event in Vietnam. Each year, the event attracts over 1,500 attendees from businesses, agencies, and academic institutions, training centers, and strategic consulting firms. Each event introduces new trends that significantly influence and shape the industry's operations in the coming years. Therefore, the event has become a gathering place for leading experts from both Vietnam and abroad, showcasing the latest marketing and communication technologies, and serving as a meeting point for marketing professionals.
