40 trainees attended the training course on building a smoke-free environment in the workplace and hospital.

On November 12, 2025, at Guest House A1, Lang Son Department of Health organized a training course on building a smoke-free environment in workplaces and hospitals by 2025. Attending the training course were 40 trainees who were leaders and officers in charge of social and administrative work of 20 units under the Department of Health.

At the program, the trainees were informed by lecturers about the harmful effects of tobacco, regulations of the Law on Prevention and Control of Tobacco Harms and implementation guidelines, instructions on the process of counseling on smoking cessation, steps to build a smoke-free working environment and medical facilities.

Through the training, trainees were provided with additional knowledge, understanding the regulations of the Law on Prevention and Control of Tobacco Harms, the harmful effects of tobacco use, and steps to build a smoke-free environment in the workplace and hospitals. Thereby, contributing to protecting and improving the health of medical staff , patients and the community and creating a clean and civilized working environment in medical units.
