Basic infectious disease training by 2025

From November 18 to 21, 2024, Van Lang Regional Medical Center coordinated with the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases to organize training on basic infectious diseases for 40 medical staff and doctors of the Regional Medical Center and Commune and Town Health Stations in Van Lang area.

Lecturers impart basic knowledge at the training class

During the 4-day training course on basic infectious diseases in 2025, trainees were equipped with knowledge about common infectious diseases, helping to improve the ability to detect early, provide initial treatment and equip communication skills to prevent infectious diseases, thereby contributing to improving the capacity of infectious diseases for medical staff and the quality of medical examination and treatment at the unit.

Professor, Doctor Nguyen Van Kinh, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Medical Association, Former Director of the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases; Specialist II Doctor Pham Minh Tuan, Head of Technical Support Department - Training and Research Institute of the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases; Master Doctor Tran Van Bac, Deputy Head of the Department of Emergency Resuscitation of the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases directly participated as lecturers in the training class.
