A representative of the Department of Education and Training said that in the Math exam on the morning of June 8, the number of candidates taking the exam was 102,423 out of a total of 102,860 registered candidates, reaching a rate of 99.57%, with 437 candidates absent.
There are 12 candidates who need help taking the exam due to health problems and need medical assistance.
According to Mr. Tran The Cuong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, by the end of the Math exam on the morning of June 8, all exam sites in the city were safe, serious, and in accordance with regulations.
Mr. Cuong affirmed that, up to this point, the leaking of exam questions has not occurred.

Thus, according to general statistics, the entire Hanoi non-specialized public 10th grade exam had only 1 candidate violating exam regulations. This candidate brought a cell phone into the Foreign Language exam room on the afternoon of June 7. No staff or invigilators violated exam regulations.
After 2 days with 3 exams in Literature, Foreign Language and Math, many teachers assessed that Hanoi's exam this year had new and more positive features than previous years. In Literature, the 10th grade exam was rated as good by many teachers and parents. Meanwhile, the English exam was commented to still ensure differentiation but limited the "cramming - tricking" of candidates to solve some questions. The Math exam was said to focus more on practical problems.
