5 Lao Cai students won prizes at the Competition 2025

The final round of the Crescendo International Music Festival & Competition 2025 has just taken place in Hanoi. Lao Cai has 5 students winning prizes at the competition.

This is an international art playground for young talents, organized by the Vecchi - Tonelli Conservatory - one of the prestigious conservatories under the Italian Government and Ministry of Culture on a worldwide scale.

This year, the competition was held at the Vietnam National Academy of Music ( Hanoi ) attracting more than 800 contestants from the following countries: Vietnam, Austria, France, Korea, Malaysia, and Brunei.

Student Duong Chau Thien Y, class 7B, Ngo Van So Secondary School ( Lao Cai ward) won the Silver Medal at Crescendo 2025.

Candidates compete in many categories such as: Piano solo, ensemble, string instruments, guitar and vocals. In addition, piano candidates also have the opportunity to perform with professional orchestras.

Nguyen Nhat Minh, Canadian International School - Lao Cai (Cam Duong ward) won the Bronze Medal at Crescendo 2025.

Surpassing hundreds of talented piano candidates from countries participating in the Competition, Lao Cai has 5 students winning prizes. Specifically: Duong Chau Thien Y, class 7B, Ngo Van So Secondary School (Lao Cai ward) excellently won the Silver Medal in the piano ensemble with orchestra; Nguyen Nhat Minh, Canada International School - Lao Cai, Nguyen Hoang Lam, class 4, Bac Cuong Primary School No. 1 (Cam Duong ward) and Tran Khiet An, class 1, Le Van Tam Primary School (Lao Cai ward) won Bronze Medals; Nguyen Khanh An, class 2, Canada International School - Lao Cai (Cam Duong ward) won the Promising Prize in the piano ensemble with orchestra.

The contest is an opportunity for contestants to shine, affirm their talent as well as their passion and love for music.
