The homeowner and four construction workers were eating and drinking together when they showed signs of poisoning. The victims were rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
On the evening of February 13, Mr. HDT (42 years old, residing in Quynh Thach commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An ) invited 4 construction workers to dinner.

During the meal, 5 men who were drinking alcohol showed signs of vomiting and headaches, suspected of alcohol poisoning. The victims were then taken to the hospital by relatives for emergency treatment.
“Five cases showed signs of suspected alcohol poisoning when admitted. The hospital transferred the victims to a higher level, including two in critical condition,” informed the leader of Quynh Luu District General Hospital.
Meanwhile, a doctor at the Emergency Department of Nghe An General Hospital said that among those hospitalized was a 54-year-old patient in critical condition, and doctors were trying to save him.
