On June 24, My Tho City Medical Center, Tien Giang Province, said it had just provided emergency care to a 6-year-old girl whose leg was caught in a bicycle spoke, causing a fracture at the lower end of her tibia.

Previously, at around 7:30 a.m. the same day, CNKH (6 years old, residing in Dao Thanh commune, My Tho city, Tien Giang ) was taken by his grandmother on a motorbike on Huynh Tinh Cua street, ward 1, My Tho city.

When reaching the intersection near Nguyen Trai and Huynh Tinh Cua streets, baby H.'s foot accidentally got caught in the spokes of the motorbike wheel, causing her to cry. Her grandmother stopped the motorbike and discovered that her right heel was stuck in the wheel, so she shouted for help.

At this time, Mr. Le Hoang Anh Vu (in My Tho city, Tien Giang province) and some passersby ran to find many tools to rescue the girl's leg.

"I was sitting drinking coffee on the side of the road, heard the cry for help, quickly ran over and together with the locals shouted for each other to bring tools to pry open the motorbike wheel to rescue the girl's leg. After about 10 minutes, many locals were able to get the girl's leg out and took her to the hospital for emergency treatment," Mr. Vu recounted.

Doctors recommend that parents instruct children to place their feet in a safe position in the car. The car should have wheel covers to prevent children from putting their feet in the spokes, causing unfortunate accidents.
