6 schools participate in the "Drug-Free School" Contest

On November 25, at Ha Giang Specialized High School (Ha Giang 1 Ward), the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) coordinated with the Department of Students (Ministry of Education and Training), the Subject and Science Department (Vietnam Television) to record the "Drug-Free School" Contest in 2025.

Attending the event were Colonel Hoang Tam Hieu, Deputy Director of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department ( Ministry of Public Security ); leaders of a number of departments, branches, sectors, and associations of the province.

The competition has 6 schools participating in the competition: Ngoc Ha High School; Vi Xuyen High School; Vi Xuyen Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities Boarding School; Ha Giang Specialized High School; Le Hong Phong High School; Ha Giang High School for Ethnic Minorities Boarding School. Each school established a team consisting of 3 main students and supporting members selected by the unit.

Debate teams.

In the form of a TV game show, the teams will compete in the following sections: Who am I, Knowledge, Eloquence and Talent. The competition will be recorded, broadcast on VTV2, VTV7 and posted on digital platforms of Vietnam Television.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the teams entered the competition to demonstrate their ability to quickly identify and correctly answer questions about drug prevention and control knowledge. In particular, the speaking competition brought many profound messages about the responsibility of students in building a safe, drug-free school environment. The competition took place in an exciting, united spirit, attracting the cheers of many students.

A lot of knowledge about drugs was shared at the contest.

The “Drug-Free School” contest is a playground for students to demonstrate their knowledge, understanding and creativity in drug prevention and control propaganda. At the same time, visual propaganda helps students gain a deeper understanding of the risks and consequences caused by drugs. From there, each student will become a drug prevention and control propagandist, contributing to creating a safe and healthy educational environment for the younger generation.
