The tanks are part of a Western military aid commitment to Kiev to counter Russian forces, according to the naval monitoring website. The German-made Leopard tanks were loaded onto a cargo ship.
The ship will head to Poland and then Ukraine to help Kiev launch a spring offensive in the coming weeks. It is unclear exactly when the military equipment will arrive.
This month, Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles said her country would provide 10 Leopard 2A4 tanks to Kiev. The military is currently repairing the remaining four.
Spain also trained 40 tank crew members and 15 repair mechanics.
Ukraine is relying on outdated Soviet-era tanks in its war with Russia and has called on the West to provide modern battle tanks, which Kiev says are vital military equipment to bolster its ground combat capabilities.
In January, the US pledged to provide 31 Abrams tanks while Germany pledged to provide Leopard tanks to Ukraine. NATO countries have also pledged to send 48 tanks to Kiev.
