1 car was swept away by flood water in Thai Son commune (Ham Yen)

- At about 20:40, June 22, Mr. L.D.A, residing in Minh Khai ward, Ha Giang city (Ha Giang), was driving a car through the spillway in Minh Thai village 1, Thai Son commune (Ham Yen), due to rising flood water, the car was swept away.

Police forces focused on supporting the search for the swept away vehicle.

At the time of the incident, in addition to driver A, there were 4 people in the car that crashed, all residing in Minh Khai ward, Ha Giang city. Fortunately, the people in the car were able to escape safely. Currently, the provincial police force is supporting the victims and searching for the vehicle.

According to the direction of the Provincial Office of Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue, on June 21 and 22, heavy rains continuously occurred in many areas of the province, causing floods on the river and stream systems. People need to be vigilant and absolutely do not travel through areas and spillways when the water level rises, endangering lives. Localities should proactively prepare plans, put up warning signs, and assign people to be on duty at key locations to ensure the safety of people and vehicles.
