The Times Higher Education (THE) ranking organization has just announced the influential university rankings in 2025. Among 2,526 universities from 130 countries/territories, Vietnam has 16 institutions, the most ever, an increase of 3 institutions compared to 2024. The four new institutions are Nam Can Tho University, University of Commerce, Dong A University and Hue University. Vietnam-Germany University was also in this group last year, but this year it was not ranked.
