Dai-ichi Life Vietnam presents scholarships and backpacks to disadvantaged children

As part of the long-term social responsibility cooperation strategy for a bright future for Vietnamese children, on June 18, the Foundation for a Beautiful Life, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam (Dai-ichi Life Vietnam) in collaboration with the Vietnam Children's Fund, presented 66 scholarships (backpacks and 1 million VND in cash), worth a total of more than 85 million VND to disadvantaged students in Tan Tru town, Tan Tru district, Long An province.

This activity is part of the commitment of the For a Beautiful Life Fund to sponsor VND800 million in 2025 for the Vietnam Children's Fund to support education for children and schools in special and difficult circumstances in 8 provinces and cities nationwide. This is the 8th consecutive year that the For a Beautiful Life Fund has accompanied the Vietnam Children's Fund in supportingeducation and child care, with a total sponsorship amount of VND4.6 billion.

Previously, in the first and second quarters of 2025, the Foundation for a Beautiful Life and the Vietnam Children's Fund visited and sponsored playground equipment, worth nearly 250 million VND in total, to 3 remote kindergartens heavily affected by storm Yagi in the two provinces of Lang Son and Bac Kan ; awarded 290 scholarships and gifts worth nearly 400 million VND to disadvantaged students in Vinh Long, Tay Ninh, Quang Ngai and Dak Lak.

Since the beginning of the year, through the For a Better Life Fund, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam has awarded more than 4,500 scholarships, study encouragement gifts and health care, worth over VND 1.8 billion in total to disadvantaged students nationwide. This is a journey of nurturing and spreading love over the past 18 years, helping more than 55,000 students overcome difficulties and excel in their studies nationwide to achieve their dreams of going to school, with a total sponsorship amount of nearly VND 28 billion.

Director of the Fund for a Beautiful Life - Tran Dinh Dong shared: “With the message “Connecting Millions of Loves”, we are very moved and happy to be in Long An to present 66 scholarships and gifts worth more than 85 million VND to children in special and difficult circumstances here. Hopefully, this practical care and attention will give them more strength to continue to strive to study well, towards a better future for themselves, their families and society”.

After 18 years of establishment and development, with outstanding efforts, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam has achieved impressive results: insurance premium revenue increased 52 times, number of customers increased 15 times, total investment capital increased 53 times and total asset value increased 105 times.

For the 8th consecutive year, the Foundation for a Beautiful Life has accompanied the Vietnam Children's Fund in supporting education and child care.

In addition to effective business operations, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam always devotes much enthusiasm and fulfills its corporate social responsibility well. Through the For a Better Life Fund, the Company has initiated many meaningful community support programs and initiatives with a total contribution of over VND 76 billion across four areas including education, health care, environment and social charity.

On December 19, 2024, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam's For a Better Life Foundation was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs for its outstanding achievements in protecting, caring for and educating children.

Previously, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam was honored to receive the title "Enterprise for the Community - Saigon Times CSR" for the 6th consecutive time (2019 - 2024) awarded by Saigon Economic Magazine.

On May 24, 2025, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam organized the event "Dai-ichi Life Vietnam is proud to surpass the milestone of serving 5 million customers" at Du Parc Hotel Hanoi, officially starting the gratitude program "More than 5 million customers, full of trust" from May 24 to December 31, 2025, including a series of customer gratitude seminars and community support activities nationwide.
