On June 23, the Party Committee of the Central Internal Affairs Commission held its 3rd Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

Completed many large projects, built hundreds of documents

During the past term, the Party Committee of the Central Internal Affairs Commission coordinated with the commission's leaders and leaders of units to complete 24 major projects with quality, drafted over 500 reports, and made recommendations to the Politburo and Secretariat.

This is to concretize and implement the Party and State's major viewpoints, orientations and policies on internal affairs, anti-corruption, waste, negativity, law and judicial reform.

Advise on handling and promptly resolving outstanding issues related to national security, social order and safety, and practical issues arising in the fields of work.

The Committee has chaired and coordinated many inter-sectoral meetings with central and local prosecution agencies to urge and handle difficulties and obstacles, speed up the investigation, prosecution and trial of cases and incidents at all three levels.

Speaking at the congress, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu pointed out that the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste, negativity and judicial reform in the past term has made strong progress and achieved important results.

In which, there is a great role and contribution of the Party Committee of the Central Internal Affairs Commission.

He suggested a number of tasks for the 2025-2030 term. In particular, the Party Committee needs to closely coordinate with the leaders of the Central Internal Affairs Commission to focus on leading and directing the successful implementation of assigned political and professional tasks.

Especially the implementation of 3 major orientations and 6 key tasks according to the conclusion of General Secretary To Lam at the recent working session with the committee.

At the same time, constantly innovate thinking and working methods, proactively detect and promptly advise on major and difficult issues in internal affairs, preventing and combating corruption, waste, negativity and judicial reform.

During the new term, the Party Committee of the Central Internal Affairs Commission proactively reviewed, advised on supplementing, amending and promulgating relevant Party documents.

This is to ensure synchronization and unity between the Central and local levels, in accordance with the Party's new policies and viewpoints on law-making.

Along with that, implementing the two-level local government model and streamlining the apparatus of the People's Court and People's Procuracy to meet the requirements of judicial reform in the new situation.

Do not allow newly appointed officials to be disciplined or criminally prosecuted.

Mr. Tran Cam Tu requested to continue advising on promoting the fight against corruption, waste, and negativity in accordance with the spirit of "no forbidden zones", "no exceptions, no matter who it is".

Advise on creating more positive changes in waste prevention and control work throughout society.

Coordinate and direct the completion of advising the Politburo on policies and directions for handling projects that are behind schedule, have been delayed, are prolonged, have low efficiency, and are at risk of loss and waste.

Advise, direct, inspect, and supervise the prevention and combat of waste related to the management and use of public assets during and after the reorganization of the apparatus in administrative units at all levels. This must be identified as an extremely urgent and priority task that needs to be done immediately.

He requested the Central Internal Affairs Commission to proactively advise and direct the acceleration of investigation and settlement of corruption, waste and negativity cases related to Party congress personnel at all levels and personnel for the 14th National Party Congress.

“We are determined not to allow cadres who have degraded political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, self-evolution, self-transformation, corruption, waste, and negativity to enter the new Party Committee. We will not allow newly appointed cadres to be disciplined or criminally prosecuted,” Mr. Tran Cam Tu stated.
