Permanent member of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat Tran Cam Tu visits and presents gifts to people and patients in flood-affected areas in Hue.

On the afternoon of October 30th, Comrade Tran Cam Tu, Member of the Political Bureau and Standing Secretary of the Central Committee, inspected the flood situation and visited and presented gifts to patients and families affected by the floods in Hue City.

In Thanh Thuy ward ( Hue City), Standing Committee member of the Party Central Committee Tran Cam Tu offered heartfelt encouragement and expressed deep sympathy for the immense losses and damage suffered by the people due to the floods.

Tran Cam Tu, Permanent Member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee, said that despite being busy with work abroad, General Secretary To Lam still followed the developments of the floods, expressed his concern and worry, and sent a letter of inquiry, encouragement, and deep sympathy to the people, cadres, and soldiers nationwide who are striving to respond to and overcome the consequences of the natural disaster.

Permanent member of the Party Central Committee Tran Cam Tu commended the efforts, the urgent, decisive, dedicated, and highly responsible involvement of Party committees, governments, the Fatherland Front , armed forces, cadres, soldiers, and the people in proactively preventing, combating, and mitigating the harmful effects of natural disasters.

Many officers, soldiers, and civilians, undeterred by danger, stayed day and night at critical points, assisting in the evacuation of people and supplying food and medicine to deeply flooded and isolated areas, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, mutual support, and profound compassion of the Vietnamese people.

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has provided 5 billion VND to Hue City to help overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

On this occasion, Standing Committee member of the Party Central Committee Tran Cam Tu presented 20 gift packages to households severely affected by floods in Thanh Thuy ward; the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front provided 5 billion VND to Hue City to help overcome the consequences of the natural disaster.

On the same day, Comrade Tran Cam Tu and the delegation visited Hue Central Hospital, which was being affected by floods. They also personally visited and presented gifts to 20 patients who had to be moved from the first floor to the hospital's auditorium due to the flooding; and encouraged the medical staff to overcome difficulties, maintain medical examination and treatment services, and ensure the health care of the people.
