In implementation of Prime Minister's Directive No. 239/CĐ-TTg dated December 12, 2025, on urgently addressing the consequences of natural disasters, restoring production and business, and serving the people's Tet holiday needs, the Ministry of Construction requests its affiliated agencies and units to focus on implementing several key tasks.

First and foremost, we must continue to vigorously implement the directives of the Politburo , the Secretariat, the Government, the Prime Minister, and the National Civil Defense Steering Committee in addressing the consequences of the floods and heavy rains. Priority should be given to dealing with landslides, flooding, and traffic disruptions on national highways, major transportation arteries, and railways, ensuring smooth and safe traffic flow during the New Year and Lunar New Year holidays.

Ms. Sau said that she has experienced many severe natural disasters, witnessed Typhoon Damrey in 2017 which killed 44 people, landslides in Khanh Le and Khanh Son, and the annual flooding that the people have always been able to cope with.
