
Congratulating the faculty and students of the university, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong affirmed that the Hanoi University of Theatre and Film is "a cradle for training many generations of artists, directors, actors, screenwriters, and cinematographers, making an important contribution to the development of Vietnamese theatre and film." According to the Deputy Minister, in the context of the developing cultural industry, the university needs to continue to innovate its training, linking traditional art with contemporary trends.

Speaking at the ceremony, Meritorious Artist and director Bui Nhu Lai, Rector of the Hanoi University of Theatre and Film, said that the past 45 years have been a persistent journey of nurturing a team of artists who are both professionally competent and culturally upright. The university has gradually affirmed its role as a training institution for high-quality human resources in the fields of theatre, film, television, and performing arts.
Over the generations, the school has trained thousands of artists, directors, actors, and creators, many of whom have become People's Artists, Meritorious Artists, respected educators, and cultural managers, making significant contributions to the development of contemporary Vietnamese culture and arts.
