In the context of Vietnam and China celebrating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, which is also the Vietnam-China Humanitarian Exchange Year, the Vietnamese community in China has expressed their thoughts and wishes for the relationship between the two countries to develop further, go deeper and more substantial, bringing practical results to businesses and the Vietnamese community living and doing business in China.
Speaking to a VNA reporter in Beijing, Ms. Vu Hoang Thanh Loan, Director of Lacina International Import-Export Company of China, said that since the historic visit to China by late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in 2022 and the visit to Vietnam by General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping in 2023, the relationship between the two countries has been raised to a new level.
Many visits by high-ranking leaders have taken place continuously and bilateral trade cooperation activities have become increasingly bustling, in-depth and substantial, bringing practical results to businesses of both countries. Ms. Thanh Loan expressed: "I hope that the Vietnam-China friendship in the coming time will become increasingly close, bringing more benefits to the people of both countries."

Sharing the same view, Ms. Pham Thi Kim Dung, General Director of Hua Pham Beijing Trading Joint Stock Company, said that in recent times, in terms of political diplomacy, the relationship between Vietnam and China has become increasingly closer, the affection between the people of the two countries has become increasingly close; senior leaders and all levels have visited each other regularly. Thereby, orienting and promoting the relationship between the two countries to continuously go into depth and practicality.
Regarding economic and trade cooperation, Ms. Kim Dung said that the potential for economic and trade cooperation between the two countries is still very large. Chinese enterprises are currently very interested and want to learn and expand their investment and business in Vietnam.
High quality Vietnamese products are also increasingly exported to China and are very popular with Chinese consumers.
“As a female overseas Vietnamese entrepreneur who has lived and worked in China for many years, I hope that in 2025, which is the Vietnam-China Humanitarian Exchange Year, the two countries will continue to coordinate and organize more exchange activities. Thereby, it will help businesses have opportunities to exchange, cooperate, and promote trade. People of the two countries will also have many opportunities to exchange and learn about each other's rivers, lands, and people, contributing to fostering the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China to develop to a new level, together building a community of sharing the future of Vietnam-China with strategic significance, bringing practical benefits to the people of the two countries,” Ms. Kim Dung expressed.
Meanwhile, Ms. Thanh Loan said that cultural exchange is one of the important factors in the Vietnam-China friendship.
Over the past 75 years, this relationship has had many ups and downs, but the people of the two countries, with common characteristics of tolerance, friendliness and hospitality, have always given each other the most sincere respect and affection.
Vietnam and China have many cultural similarities. If the two countries increase the organization of cultural exchange activities, mutual understanding during traditional holidays and New Year, exchange of art performances, traditional costumes, trips to learn and experience the culture of other countries for teenagers... these will be useful and practical activities to enhance understanding and promote friendship between the two countries./.
