Because the role of office work is so important, right from the first day of the Party's founding 95 years ago (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), the staff department, assisting in serving the Party's activities, first of all the activities serving the Conference to establish the Communist Party of Vietnam and the first Central Conference (October 1930), the Party Committee office was formed. In essence, these are the activities of the Party Central Office.

Therefore, on January 29, 2002, the Party Central Committee Secretariat issued Notice No. 43 deciding to take October 18, 1930 as the traditional day of the Party Central Committee Office, and also the traditional day of Party Committee offices at all levels. This is an important milestone, marking the birth and recognizing the great contributions and glorious traditions of the Party Committee Office system to the revolutionary cause of our nation under the leadership of the Party. The activities of the Party Committee Office are closely linked to the birth and leadership of the Party through revolutionary periods in the glorious struggle for national independence, freedom, national unification, and the construction and protection of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. It was a revolutionary cause full of sacrifices and hardships, and achieved victories of historical significance, of profound epochal significance, writing the most heroic and glorious pages in the history of the nation. Through their efforts, sacrifices, loyalty, dedication, dynamism, innovation, creativity, scientific and effective work, generations of cadres, civil servants and employees of the Central Office and Party Committee offices at all levels have made worthy contributions to the great achievements of the country, the people and our Party.
Over the years, generations of cadres and office staff of Party Committees at all levels in Gia Lai province (old) have always excellently completed their tasks of advising and serving the Party Committees in accordance with their functions. Recall that when the 1954 Geneva Agreement on peace in Vietnam was implemented, the 17th parallel was the temporary demarcation line dividing the North and South, the majority of cadres and soldiers from the South gathered in the North, so that after 2 years there would be a general election to unify the country. However, our Party grasped the plot and tricks of the US-Diem regime that they would never implement the Agreement. Therefore, our Party left a group of cadres and Party members to stay and operate, stabilize and develop the movement, build bases in the South, and prepare for the confrontation with the US imperialists and their Ngo family lackeys.
In Gia Lai, implementing the policy of the Zone 5 Party Committee and the Central Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's policy is to go hand in hand with stabilizing the grassroots situation, maintaining and building, developing the revolutionary movement among the masses in both Kinh and ethnic minority areas, which is to find a location to build a base. The base must be secret, safe, close to the people, far from the enemy, and advance and retreat safely and conveniently in case of an incident. The Party Committee Office was assigned this extremely important task. After surveying the field situation, the Provincial Party Committee Office proposed two locations: Kong Chro or Kbang, two locations that ensure the requirements set forth by the Provincial Party Committee. And as we know, Kbang-K.10-Krong was chosen. Throughout the 21-year resistance war against the American invaders, the Krong-K10 base has fulfilled its mission as required from the very first day for the base. During those 21 years, the Party Committee Office always completed its assigned tasks excellently, especially in the work of consulting on research, synthesis, information, logistics, and ensuring material resources to serve all leadership and direction activities of the Party Committee. And in the first months after liberation, many tasks involved healing the wounds of war, stabilizing the political security situation, social order and safety, and overcoming hunger, lack of salt, illiteracy, and diseases... with their functions and tasks, the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee Office and the Party Committee Offices at all levels in the province have excellently completed their tasks.
At the end of 1975, implementing the policy of the Central Committee and the Zone 5 Party Committee, the two provinces of Gia Lai and Kon Tum merged, and the two provincial Party Committee offices also converged under one roof. The task of advising and serving the Party Committee at that time was heavy and cumbersome, with the work of arranging the apparatus at the same time as directing production and stabilizing all aspects of life for the people of the two provinces with very large areas and complicated political security situations. The team of cadres, party members, and office staff of the Party Committee came from many sources: mostly from the base, most of them had not been properly trained in office work, a part of the cadres and staff from the North were reinforced and received a number of cadres and staff from the newly liberated areas. Although they had expertise and education, in terms of awareness of class and political stance, functions and tasks of office work - a specific job in the Party's agency - still needed to be continuously planned, nurtured, and trained...
As an “insider”, I was then and still am today very happy and proud to be working in a united environment, wholeheartedly serving the Party Committee, being led by the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the permanent comrades, the chief and deputy chief of the office always care for their staff. Many people were sent for training in culture and professional expertise, gradually supplementing the team of office workers at all levels to ensure “both red and professional” to serve the Party Committee better and better!
Celebrating the 95th anniversary of the tradition of office work at all levels, as those who have worked in office work at all levels over the years, we have the right to be excited and proud that we have contributed to the work of advising and serving the Party Committee. There is a saying that: "God relies on his subordinates", Party Committees at all levels in all periods have completed their leadership tasks to successfully carry out the resistance war against colonialism and imperialism, unify the country and build and develop the socio-economy, ensure national defense and security, build and consolidate the political system in the province thanks to the contributions of the staff and party members of the office of the Party Committee at all levels, as Uncle Ho once affirmed: "Office work is of special importance, helping leaders grasp the situation, if office staff grasp the situation wrongly, leaders will not handle the work correctly"!
Proud of the "mission of special importance in performing the advisory function and serving the Party Committee", we believe that, after the merger of the two provinces of Binh Dinh into Gia Lai, those working in the Party Committee's office at all levels will continue to promote the tradition of the industry, always unite, overcome initial difficulties, quickly stabilize the organization and ensure the best possible facilities, to fulfill the advisory function and serve the Party Committee in the best way!
