Coffee and pepper prices both "plummeted" by 800-2,000 VND/kg

(GLO)- On December 2, the domestic agricultural market recorded a "plummet" in coffee and pepper prices. Domestic coffee prices today decreased by 800-1,300 VND/kg, while pepper prices dropped sharply by 1,000-2,000 VND/kg.

Currently, domestic coffee is trading at 110,500-111,300 VND/kg. Of which, the coffee price dropped the most in Dak Lak province with 1,300 VND/kg, reaching 111,300 VND/kg. However, this is still the locality with the highest coffee purchase price in the country today.

Coffee in Lam Dong province decreased by VND800/kg, to VND110,500/kg; in Gia Lai province, it decreased by VND1,200/kg, to VND110,700/kg.

Similarly, after a sharp decrease, domestic pepper prices are currently fluctuating between 148,500-150,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, pepper in Gia Lai is priced at 148,500 VND/kg, the deepest decrease in the country at 2,000 VND/kg.

In Dak Lak and Lam Dong, pepper was purchased at 150,000 VND/kg, down 1,000 VND/kg. With the same decrease, pepper price in Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City was at 149,000 VND/kg.
