Can Tho: Towards a smart and efficient office model

On October 18, the Can Tho City Party Committee Office held a meeting to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Party Committee Office's Traditional Day (October 18, 1930 - October 18, 2025).

Collectives and individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee.

At the meeting, delegates reviewed the tradition of the Party Committee Office over 95 years of construction and development. Upholding that glorious tradition, the Party Committee Office staff always promote the spirit of solidarity, dedication, initiative and creativity, successfully completing the functions of advisory - synthesis; administration - logistics, contributing to improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee. In the current period of innovation and integration, the City Party Committee Office continues to affirm its role as a center for comprehensive information, strategic advisory and serving the Party Committee leadership in an increasingly professional, modern and effective manner.

Over the past 9 months, the Can Tho City Party Committee Office has actively advised and served the merger of provincial and communal levels, building a 2-level local government; successfully organized the grassroots congress and the 1st Can Tho City Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Dong Van Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council, acknowledged and commended the contributions of cadres, civil servants, and office workers at all levels over the years. He requested the City Party Committee Office and Party Committee Offices at all levels to continue to train their political mettle, maintain their moral qualities, sense of responsibility, absolute loyalty to the Party, and dedicated service to the Party Committee; constantly innovate and improve the quality of consulting - synthesis; administration - logistics, be proactive and sensitive in grasping the situation, ensuring that information work serving leadership and direction is quick, accurate, and timely; take the lead in innovation, application of information technology, digital transformation in office work, towards the model of "Smart Office, effective operation", contributing to building the City Party Committee to be increasingly modern and professional, associated with administrative reform in the Party.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee also requested the City Party Committee Office and Party Committee offices at all levels to strengthen coordination between advisory and support agencies of the City Party Committee and related units, ensuring unity, harmony and efficiency in implementing the city's political tasks; pay attention to training, fostering and building a team of truly professional, dedicated, brave and loyal Party Committee office staff, considering this a decisive factor in the quality and effectiveness of the entire sector's operations...

At the meeting, 11 cadres of the Can Tho City Party Committee Office who have made many contributions to the Party Committee Office's career received the Commemorative Medal "For the cause of the Party Committee Office" in 2025; 1 collective and 11 individual cadres and civil servants of the City Party Committee Office with achievements in organizing the 1st Congress of Can Tho City Party Committee, term 2025-2030 received Certificates of Merit from the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee; The City Party Committee Office presented flowers to female cadres on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union.
