Agribank accompanies the 27th Quang Nam Newspaper Traditional Cross Country Race in 2024

On the morning of December 17, 2024, at 24/3 Square, Tam Ky City, Quang Nam Province, the 27th Quang Nam Newspaper Open Traditional Cross Country Race 2024 - Agribank Cup officially kicked off.

The cross-country race is a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, towards welcoming major events of Quang Nam province and the country in 2025: Party Congresses at all levels and the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term; Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Quang Nam province and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee.

Attending the opening ceremony were comrade Nguyen Duc Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Nam province and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; Leaders of departments, branches, sectors and mass organizations of the province. Representing Agribank were comrade Nguyen Tien Truong - Head of Agribank Representative Office in the Central Region, comrade Tran Ngoc Anh - Director of Agribank Quang Nam Branch.

The Quang Nam Newspaper Traditional Cross Country Race is held annually and is the largest race in Quang Nam province, attracting the participation of 131 delegations and 1,198 athletes competing in 15 events of 08 groups with distances ranging from 1,500m to 10,000m. This year's race especially brings together many of Vietnam's top athletes who currently hold national records and Seagames gold medals.

At the program, Agribank donated 6 billion VND to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Quang Nam province.

This year is the 19th consecutive year, Agribank Quang Nam is honored to be the main sponsor of the Award. On this occasion, responding to the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Quang Nam province", Agribank donated 6 billion VND to build 100 houses for poor households and policy households who are eligible for temporary house elimination in Quang Nam province in 2025 with the desire to contribute part of their efforts with localities to soon stabilize the lives of poor and disadvantaged households, promoting economic and social development.
