"Al Nassr without Ronaldo really played like a ghost," a fan expressed after witnessing Al Nassr defeat Al Okhdood with a resounding 9-0 score in the 31st round of the Saudi Pro League which took place in the early morning of May 13 (Vietnam time).
The away team created a superior game when controlling the ball up to 76%, finishing 25 times with 15 shots on target, while the home team only had 4 shots and 1 of them on target.

In the first half, Al Nassr led their opponents 4-0. In the 16th minute, Yahya opened the scoring for the away team with an accurate shot. Just 4 minutes later, Yahya continued to have an assist for Duran to increase the score to 2-0.
In the 27th minute, Brozovic scored the third goal for Al Nassr with a powerful shot, and before the end of the first half, Mane closed the goal party when scoring in the 45+6 minute.
At the beginning of the second half, Al Okhdood played with one less player when goalkeeper Paulo Vitor received a straight red card. Thanks to that, Al Nassr continued to dominate and scored 5 more goals, including 3 goals by Sadio Mane and the remaining 2 goals by Duran and Mohammed Maran. Sadio Mane also scored his first poker (4 goals) in the Saudi Pro League for the first time.
Al Nassr won a resounding 9-0 victory, maintaining their 3rd place in the Saudi Pro League standings but no longer having a chance to win the championship as they are 11 points behind the top-ranked Al Ittihad with only 3 rounds left. The 9-0 victory is also the biggest victory in Al Nassr's history.
Thanks to this great performance, many fans believe that Ronaldo's presence is the reason holding back coach Stefano Pioli's team.
"Our biggest win of the season and Ronaldo didn't play. He made us worse. Get CR7 out of my Al Nassr," one fan declared.
A second said: "Al Nassr won 9-0 without Ronaldo. That says a lot," while another said: "It's clear that Portugal and Al Nassr played better without Ronaldo... shame on him!"
Many fans have also dug up manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's comments that bringing Ronaldo back to Man Utd was a mistake, seeing it as further evidence that the striker's decline - and the damaging effect it can have on a team - has been clear for some time.
"Ole Solskjaer admitted on Stick to Football that he regrets signing Ronaldo. The guy ruins teams and doesn't want to admit that his best days are over. Al Nassr just won 9-0. They played very well without him and easily won every game without him," one fan claimed.
