At the program, Brigade 147, Naval Region 1 Command and the Organizing Committee presented 1,000 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts worth more than 150 million; 71 scholarships worth 35.5 million VND to children in difficult circumstances and many other meaningful gifts such as lanterns, greeting cards, toys, and school supplies.
At Brigade 957, Naval Region 4 Command, with the support of Sen Viet Club and the National Volunteer Network in the Central region, presented 100 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to children. The gifts contained the love, sharing, and care for the "little rear" of officers and soldiers who are on duty day and night.
The Mid-Autumn Festival also includes activities such as: Cultural exchange with many special performances, comedy, singing, dancing, music, lion dance, folk games; interaction with characters such as Cuoi and Hang; fireworks display produced by the Ministry of National Defense .
The program has created a joyful and meaningful space, helping children fully enjoy the Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere with their peers; at the same time, creating a useful playground to help children actively study, practice and strive to become good children and good students of their families, schools and society.
This activity is also an opportunity to encourage, care for and bring joy to the children of naval officers and soldiers, whose parents are on duty to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
