India receives anti-dumping investigation request on medical rubber gloves originating or imported from Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam

Recently, the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) of India has announced that it has received a request for an anti-dumping investigation into medical rubber gloves originating or imported from Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. Currently, there is no further information about the products under investigation.

In order to promptly respond to the incident, the Department of Trade Remedies (DRT) recommends that the Vietnam Rubber Association, Vietnamese organizations and enterprises producing and exporting the above-mentioned products:

- Review the export situation of products under investigation to India;

- Discuss with import partners/customers in India to find out more information about the case and the situation of the domestic manufacturing industry in India;

- Carefully study India's anti-dumping investigation regulations;

- Plan to participate and prepare resources to handle the case in case the case is initiated;

- Contact and coordinate closely with the PVTM Department to receive timely information and support.
