Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung emphasized: After 100 years of construction and development, Vietnam's revolutionary press has made strong progress in terms of quantity, quality, programs, publication content, and has initially mastered modern communication technology. Many press agencies have developed into multimedia press agencies on par with the region and the world. The team of journalists is increasingly strong, steadfast in political will, good at professional skills, exemplary in professional ethics and performing well in social responsibilities.
In that heroic flow, the An Giang press team is proud to carry its own historical pages, contributing to the brilliant milestones of the Vietnamese revolutionary press. With a team of more than 200 journalists - press members and hundreds of cadres working in information and propaganda, the press and media agencies in the province have seriously implemented the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the propaganda orientation of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, closely following the goal of maintaining political stability, creating social consensus and people's trust in the Party and the regime; providing timely, honest and comprehensive information on Party building work, political life, socio -economic life in the country and in the province, quickly applying modern technology, diversifying forms of information transmission to meet the increasing information needs of readers.
Along with that, press agencies outside the province regularly monitor, report, and create positive effects on An Giang. In the overall picture of Party building and socio-economic development of the province, there is a positive role and mark of the press force, which is clearly demonstrated in propaganda and promotion work, contributing an important part to the overall achievements of the province.

The press must closely follow the Party's viewpoints, policies and guidelines, the State's laws and policies; closely follow the breath of life and the times; regularly and continuously propagate major, important and urgent matters that the entire Party and the entire political system are currently focusing on organizing and implementing.
More than ever, the press and propaganda agencies of An Giang province need to continue to strengthen internal Party building, strive to overcome current difficulties, and continue to affirm the brand of An Giang journalists. Press agencies should pay attention to building a team of cadres, reporters, and editors with strong political will, good professional skills, and clear professional ethics, who are truly exemplary and leading examples on all fronts, especially on the information and propaganda front to fight against peaceful evolution, self-evolution, and self-transformation within the organization.
