Many attractive activities at the Northwest Quintessence Festival

As planned, the 2025 Northwest - Dien Bien Quintessence Festival on a regional scale will take place from August 29 to 31 with the participation of the following merged provinces and cities: Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Lao Cai, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Son La and Ho Chi Minh City.

The opening ceremony of these activities was held on the morning of August 29 at 7/5 Square, Dien Bien Phu City. Specifically, the beautiful tourism photo exhibition “Colors of the Northwest” includes 240 photos of 50x70cm size, introducing the land, people, development potential, tourist destinations, unique traditional cultural identities of the extended Northwest provinces and Ho Chi Minh City.

At the booths of participating provinces, there are also many publications, documents, clips introducing the potential for tourism development, tourism products; projects calling for investment in the tourism sector; consulting and selling tourism products and services of tourism and travel agencies and businesses. This is an opportunity to connect with units and businesses, promote linkages, cooperate in product development; introduce and sell agricultural products, local specialties, typical OCOP products... In addition, visitors can also watch famous artisans and chefs demonstrate the preparation, introduction and enjoyment of typical dishes and drinks of provinces, cities, units, businesses...

Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien Nguyen Minh Phu said that in addition to this event, on the main stage there will also be performances, folk songs, folk dances, traditional music of ethnic groups. Units and businesses will also organize activities, introduce programs to stimulate tourism products and services...
