Approval of key dike protection plan on the left Thuong dike route

BAC GIANG - The People's Committee of Bac Giang province has just issued a Decision approving the key dike protection plan to supplement the left-bank dike of Bac Giang city in 2025.

Accordingly, the key dike protection plan to supplement the left Thuong dike line, Bac Giang city includes: Points K6+750-K6+795 and K8+000-K 8+250 on the left Thuong dike line in Tho Xuong ward; points K9+850-K9+155 on the left Thuong dike in Tran Phu ward, these points all have dangerous landslides.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the People's Committee of Bac Giang city to focus on directing, inspecting, urging, and organizing the implementation of the approved plan. Clearly assign responsibilities to collectives and individuals, fully prepare forces, materials, means, equipment, and conditions to ensure the implementation of the plan according to the motto "4 on-site", "first-hour handling" to ensure the safety of dikes and natural disaster prevention works; minimize damage caused by incidents; ensure the safety of people and property of the state and people.

Timely detect and propose adjustments to inappropriate contents to complete the key dike protection plan to supplement the left-bank dike of Bac Giang city in 2025.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment regularly inspects, reviews and advises on adjusting plans, and is responsible for the submitted plans to ensure dike safety and suitability to the actual situation.
