Thai Nguyen urgently completes works to celebrate National Day September 2

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2, following the direction of the Prime Minister, Thai Nguyen province has been assigned to organize the groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies of many key projects and works, with large scale, connecting live television and online nationwide. Relevant units are urgently completing technical infrastructure, equipment, and landscape to meet the schedule of organizing the event on August 19.

According to the plan, 6 typical projects and works in Thai Nguyen province have been selected to start construction and inaugurate simultaneously. In particular, the Yen Binh 2 Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Construction Project was chosen as the main bridge connecting with the whole country.

The remaining projects include: Bach Quang Ward Social Housing Project; New Urban Area and Central Walking Street of Thai Nguyen Province; Tan Thai Golf Course, Housing and Entertainment Complex Project (Nui Coc Lake, Dai Phuc Commune); Thai Nguyen Central Hospital; and the inauguration of the connecting road connecting the three provinces of Thai Nguyen - Bac Giang - Vinh Phuc (now Phu Tho), phase 1.

The Tan Thai Golf Course Complex Project in Dai Phuc Commune - one of the key projects in tourism and resort infrastructure development - is urgently completing technical and landscape items. It is noted that the construction atmosphere is very urgent, the construction units have increased human resources and equipment to ensure completion on time so that the event can take place as planned.

Mr. Dang Hong Tien, Head of Tan Thai Golf Course Project Management Board, said: We have mobilized forces to complete on schedule, ensuring service for the province's important event on August 19.

In addition, a project of special significance in terms of regional connectivity is the Thai Nguyen - Bac Giang - Vinh Phuc (now Phu Tho) connecting route, phase 1, which has now completed nearly 90% of the volume; the asphalt concrete road surface has also reached nearly 90% of the volume, the roadbed alone has reached 99% of the volume. The three major bridges on the route have also completed about 90% of the volume. Construction units are focusing on completing the bridgeheads to be able to technically open to traffic before August 19, ensuring the time frame for organizing the important event.

Mr. Tran Manh Cuong, Deputy Director of the Thai Nguyen Province Traffic and Agricultural Construction Investment Project Management Board, said: We have built a detailed daily schedule, closely following the actual construction site and urging contractors to ensure the quality of the project. The route is now ready for the technical opening event, as well as serving long-term connections in the future. The location chosen to hold the event has also been carefully prepared.

Due to the important significance of the event, on a national scale, the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province has closely directed and required all venues to complete the installation of equipment, technology, and communications before August 17, to conduct a general rehearsal on August 18, ensuring the event takes place safely, synchronously and solemnly on August 19, 2025.

Comrade Hoang Thai Cuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction, shared: The Department is closely coordinating with investors and construction units. We directly go to the site of each project to check the quality, monitor the progress and handle arising issues. The highest goal is to not let any connection point be behind schedule or have technical problems.

In addition to infrastructure construction, preparations for aesthetics, environmental sanitation, security and order, fire prevention and fighting, and storm prevention are also being planned by the units. The technical system for Internet transmission, live and online television has also been surveyed and will be installed and tested in the next one to two days.

The groundbreaking and inauguration of key projects is not only a practical activity to celebrate the 80th National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, but also an opportunity for Thai Nguyen province to affirm its position, promote infrastructure development, attract investment, and create momentum for sustainable development steps in the future.
